Terms of use

The rules for using Child Runway. Last updated 26 September 2026.

These terms are an agreement between you (the parent or guardian who installs or subscribes) and Child Runway (“we”). By using Child Runway you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

1. Who may use the app

Child Runway is made for young children to use under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Accounts, purchases and settings are for adults only; you must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or subscribe. You are responsible for how your child uses the device.

2. Free and premium videos

Some videos in every topic are free. A subscription unlocks the whole library, including videos we add during your subscription. We may add, change or retire videos and topics over time to keep the library fresh and appropriate.

3. Subscription, billing and renewal

  • The subscription costs about US$5 per year. The exact price in your currency, including any taxes, is shown in Google Play or the App Store before you confirm.
  • Payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple account. The subscription renews automatically every year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • You can cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions, or on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their refund policies. If you have a problem, contact us and we will help.
  • A subscription is linked to one email address and works on Android and iPhone with that email.

4. One phone at a time

A subscription can be active on one phone or tablet at a time. Signing in on a new device moves the subscription there and signs out the old one. To prevent sharing, a subscription can move devices up to 3 times in 30 days; contact support if you need help sooner. Premium videos need the app to reach our servers at least once every 7 days; free videos always play.

5. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app and watch its videos for your family’s private, non-commercial use. All videos, characters, music, artwork and software belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, download outside the app, redistribute, broadcast, resell or publicly show the content, or reverse-engineer, circumvent or interfere with the app, its downloads or its security.

6. Content

We work hard to make every video accurate, gentle and suitable for young children. Educational content supports, but does not replace, time with parents, carers and teachers. If you think any video is inappropriate or wrong, tell us at support@childrunway.com and we will review it promptly.

7. The lock and time limit

The seatbelt lock relies on your device’s own features (Android App pinning, Apple Guided Access) and the time limit on the device clock. They are helpful tools, not a guarantee; please keep supervising young children using a device.

8. Account deletion and ending the service

You can delete your account at any time in the app or on our website. Deleting the account does not cancel store billing. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or abuse the service. If we ever stop offering Child Runway, we will tell you in advance in the app.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using the app after the change, the new terms apply.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you live in a country whose consumer laws give you the right to bring claims locally, you keep that right. Please contact us first — most problems are solved quickly by email.

12. Store terms

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. If you downloaded it from Google Play, Google Play’s terms of service also apply.
